DAY 22:

After breakfast the guide students began packing the mules and we cleaned up the kitchen. LeRee won't be going on the pack trip so we'll be in charge of the cooking. During the trip the guide students will do some of the cooking. Cody wants them to have the basic skills in case they're on their own in a spike camp with hunters. We assist them and answer questions if they have any problems.

We saddled our horses and rode five hours to Whetstone Lake and set up camp. This is really on the job training now; just like the jobs we'll be taking.
